Open Entry Network

REPAIR is building a network of real estate brokerages working to increase broker diversity and support BIPoC brokers entering and becoming established in the real estate industry.

This program is for BIPoC brokers licensed with fewer than three years of experience or those considering a career in real estate. Though currently limited to real estate brokers, we envision this expanding to other areas of the real estate industry, like lending, title and escrow, inspection companies, etc.

Interested in a career in real estate? Curious about the process or industry? Contact us here.

We thank the following real estate brokerages for taking the first step by committing to collaborating with us on this program:

Our goal is to be a point of connection, encouragement, and advocacy for BIPoC real estate brokers.

Our participating real estate brokerages are providing the following:

  • Initial desk fee waived or guaranteed salary

  • Mentorship at no charge to the broker

  • New broker training

  • Engaging in anti-racism training for leadership

  • Encouraging white real estate brokers to engage in anti-racism training

Some real estate brokerages are also:

  • Covering coursework expenses

  • Covering initial licensing fees

  • Providing monthly stipends

  • Pivoting the support they provide to meet the goals and needs of individual BIPoC participants

REPAIR understands that different real estate brokerages have different capacities and we invite you  to collaborate with us on finding what works. We ask that participating real estate brokerages provide significant material support and make deep commitments to creating a work atmosphere where BIPoC real estate brokers can thrive.

If you’re interested in being connected with a participating real estate brokerage, please fill out the contact form below.
